Can’t recommend intense movers enough! They were so polite and professional, worked quickly, and treated everything with care! Everything was wrapped and stowed perfectly - not one thing broken/scratched/damaged at all. Octavius and Rob were wonderful! If you’re moving, intense movers is the best option without a doubt.

Can't rave about Intense Movers enough. I've used them about four or times over the course of years, and they are CONSISTENTLY organized and easy to work with, transparent about costs and well priced, communicative about scheduling and day of logistics... and every mover I've worked with has been nothing but professional and joyful. Highly, highly recommend!

I have used Intense Movers twice for moves within Brooklyn and Queens and have had great experiences both times. They are very transparent with their costs. I had several fragile items that increased my costs but I knew from using them before that I could trust them to get things done smoothly without any lost items or damages so I didn't hesitate to book with them again. My three movers were great and got my 1 bedroom apartment loaded and unloaded in about an hour each leaving me the rest of the day to get settled. Santos was in touch the evening before to check in and the morning of to make sure things went smoothly. I highly recommend them for your next move!

I used Intense Movers for my 1 bedroom move from Murray Hill to Long Island City in January 2026. The had the most competitive flat-fee quote, with insurance COI. We're on time, wrapped my couch and other fragile pieces and we're overall pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them.

Our latest move was the first time we used a moving service. Intense came highly recommended on Reddit and I’m so glad I went with this service. From the start, the team was so organized in their intake process and making sure all of the information was accurate. On moving day, Rob and Ryan were incredible, so professional, and took such great of our items (including some oversize and unique/handmade furniture!) I could not be happier with my experience with Intense and I strongly recommend them. Excellent pricing, as well.

Intense Movers were professional, quick, and affordable. We requested a quote for a local move and they were quick to respond after filling out the questionnaire. Saturday, Sunday, morning or evening it was convenient from start to finish. Movers themselves were great people, and knew the best ways to get the job done. They dissambled our beds and moved our heavy furniture I wasn't even sure would fit out the door easily. Guaranteed to use them the next time I move. Also, they showed up early and called to let me know ahead of time.

used intense movers after intense googling and can recommend 100%!! they were so speedy and got things in and out before i could even blink. i was super worried/stressed about my first intra-city move but they were super responsive re COI and had a really competitive price compared to other moving companies. i also had to reschedule my move 3 times in a week and they didn’t change the price at all. in fact, i ended up paying exactly my quoted price without any sneaky last-minute upcharges. highly recommend !!

Intense Movers were very clear, communicative, and professional throughout the whole process! They were very clear about the inventory and quoting me an accurate price, and were very responsive and accommodating when we needed to pivot due to the blizzard. Eric (along with the rest of the team) who moved my stuff was punctual, professional, friendly, and did an amazing job!! At such a reasonable price I would definitely use them again.

I’ve used Intense Movers for 3 of my moves now, and they were amazing every time. Upon inquiry the provided a quote very quickly and it was extremely reasonable. They moved us out and in quickly and efficiently and couldn’t have been more polite. They also disassembled and reassembled one of my larger and more complicated pieces of furniture quickly and easily. I have heard horror stories about other moving companies trying to get more money but there was absolutely none of that with these guys. Definitely book them. I will 100% use them for my next move.

Best experience moving. I had to move from one fourth floor walk-up to another and the guys at Intense Movers quoted me the most competitive price I've ever seen. They were super helpful in the booking process. Day of, they arrived on time, were professional, kind, helpful. They helped me disassemble my bed, take out the AC from the window. They also were totally kind and accommodating when I messed up and packed boxes that were way too heavy for one person to carry (sorry Eric, Hansel & Eddie, you guys are amazing). Don't do what I did! In any case, if I move again, I would call them in a heartbeat. They are hands down the best movers in NYC. Tip them well, get them water and coffee. They deserve it.
